Doña Ana County administrative offices will close on Monday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.  Emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected. 

Recognizing the celebrated ending of World War I fighting at 11 a.m., November 11, 1918, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the day became known as “Armistice Day.”  Now known as Veterans Day, on Nov. 11, we honor those who served in the U.S. military.

We extend our deep gratitude to the veterans of all military branches who answered the call to duty and served our country honorably, as well as the families who support them.

County administrative offices will resume regular business hours at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12.
